Wolfgang Heinzel

Wolfgang Heinzel, born in 1951, studied piano, percussion, composition and conducting in Hannover. London and Paris.
As a pianist he performed recitals at home and abroad and founded his own Jazz Quartet with concerts in Europe, Turkey, India and Japan.
He also was a lecturer for repetition at the Academy of Music in Saarbrücken and at the Mannheimer Academy of Music.

Amongst his compositions are numerous works for stage, orchestra, ballet and choir. 
He also composed chamber music works and pieces for solo voice.
Apart from that he is an arranger of works for stage, orchestra and ballet.
Amongst his clients where e.g. Milan`s Scala and the National Theatre of Belgrade and several German state opera houses.

In 2003 he was appointed chief conductor of the German Philharmonic Orchestra Merck .

Several CD recordings demonstrate the various activities of Wolfgang Heinzel as a pianist, arranger and conductor.

Based on his activities as conductor he developed new leadership-concepts.
